Well I have been talking over this past month with my wonderful husband about how isolated I feel because there really is no one to meet who is Elvin (in person). He had a great idea, look for a convention of like minded people! So I did but to no avail then he said so lets start one... (you see why I love him) SOOOOO we are going to work on pulling together over the next year a Elvin Convention!!!! Not a Tolkien one (love him) or anything fictional but a Kin Elvin Convention!!! We are going to set it in Flagstaff Arizona where its fairly cheap.There is an airport and if you plan at least 6 months early you can transport really cheap. Right now I don't have any details as I am going to do major research for the best I can get for us. My husband has planned these large events for years and is volunteering for ours. We do need vendors, entertainers, guests, speakers, and everyone to keep in mind this is all non-profit (we don't make a dime but you can). I am also going to seek Body Mod Artists who do ears for a venue. I know some people here think it might be a bit much but so would like to get it done, I admit I am one. We would also like anyone who would be interested in helping with the website, I can do basic stuff in Publisher but it would be good to have better. I can get the graphics and info for anyone who helps though. Of course anyone interested is thinking OK how much? I don't know yet. It will be if you want a room in that hotel or to find your own (I will keep prices reasonable as best I can), If speakers charge, I would love to get deep past life hypnosis sessions, and fees to cover the rental of the rooms (convention).
